Picadilly, London
Whilst working at AHMM, Marco Curtaz designed options for a boutique pavilion for possible use as a jewelers, designer store, or high-end restaurant.
The building’s form was derived from the faceted/extruded tectonic on the existing office facade, which was re-appropriated in different ways around each corner of the ground floor proposal. Patinated bronze and dark marble differentiate the new elements from the existing stone building, and provide a richness that helps highlight the primary ground floor.
