The main brief was to create a room for relaxation and retreat within a busy family house. A parents’ suite was designed with an external bath angled to capture a key southerly view – a calming glimpse over rooftops towards trees and the Shard beyond, flooded with natural light throughout the day.
This key view was further celebrated with the introduction of tapered reveals (increasing the angle of visibility from within the space), and an upholstered window seat for reading, or just taking in the vista.
